June 1st, 1985, I married Amy (Heisch) Spivey, who graduated from Evangel Temple Christian School and we moved to the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area in July, of 1986 after accepting a ministry position and we have lived here ever since. We have two sons, Andrew who is 28 and Aaron who is 24 and they are both married. I have served as an associate pastor at www.healingplacechurch.org which is a 13,000 member church with multi-campuses since 1993. I also work part time as a Sheriff's Deputy and Chaplain with The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Department www.ascensionsheriff.com I am a competive shooter, and love to hunt, fish, and train my labrador retrievers, Gabby Girl and Raven.
