Comment: My husband and I just became empty nesters.  The youngest just started at Texas A&M this fall and the oldest is a senior at the California Institute of Technology.  After being a 2nd generation gopher, it was difficult to watch my son be "The Warrior" at SGP for the last 3 years.  We are now just left with our silly schnauzers! Life is good.

Comment: Leland and I were married for just under 20 years.  He passed away in 2005.  They did not find what happened so it was ruled as a heart attach.  We have 2 wonderful boys.  They are now teenagers.  We still live in GP.  My youngest has 2 1/2 more yrs of school and then who knows where I'll end up.  I work in insurance in downtown Dallas.  Got into insurance at 19 and can't seem to get out.

My family moved home to Grand Prairie from Tennessee in June 2010.  We are so excited to be home!  Our youngest daughter graduated from GPHS...30 years after we did in 2014!  :)  I'm now a proud Gopher MOM!
